07.18.08 - Football Practice - Day 5

Last day of practice during "hell" week... of course, had to include bear crawls:

This is what their water breaks look like:

Practice is finally over. Here the team is joining in a team cheer:

One last video to end the week:

Day 4 of Practice was warm - about 94 degrees. Here is the team on one knee (that's how they are allowed to take a break):

07.16.08 - Football Practice - Day 3

Another day of practice. Temperature today was 93, up from the nice high 80's we had on Monday and Tuesday. We are still thankful that it is no where near the 113 degrees we had last week. Today's practice lasted 2.5 hours instead of the usual 2.

We had lots of bear crawls:

Even practiced some hitting. Aidan is on the right in the 3-point stance, getting ready to hit.

Here is a little video of Chloe:

07.15.08 - Football Practice - Day 2

Let's see if I am able to post a video...

This is practice day 2 with a little "chit-chat" in the back ground from Ms. Chloe.

04.23.07 Just because there is 'mud' on the car...

So we were watching the NASCAR races this weekend... next thing I hear is Aidan saying "just because there is mud on the car, doesn't mean there is mud in the car" and he giggled. "Mud is definately something you don't want in your car." Oh, he is just too cute. So I correct him and tell him that Dale Earnhardt is really saying "just because there is BUD on the car, doesn't mean there is BUD in the car." He thinks about that one for awhile.

A few minutes later he asks "what is Buzz-weiser?". I just smile and ask him to repeat his question. Again he asks "what is Buzz-weiser?". So I correct him again and say that it is "Bud" not "Buzz" and tell him it is beer. Maybe I should have stayed with the mud...
